We've got a new talented bunch of creative expertise at KOH...
Welcome Nicola, Rita, Rob, Emmet, Imelda & Paula!
Aisling Hanby, Managing Director
Aisling is our Networking Queen! With natural communication skills, she loves chasing opportunities & expanding KOH’s brand awareness. After a stint in London (well practically London) doing a BA Hons, she went on to gain experience in the workplace but saw a major gap in communication between designer and client and felt that this was a vital flaw in the industry. She saw an opportunity to introduce a new agency in Ireland where communication & innovation are at the core. With Gemma in tow, they created KOH!
Something you didn’t know about her:
- She has recently celebrated/commiserated her 30th Birthday!
- She hates frogs & cheese.
- She once cut all of her hair off for a fiver!
- She hopes to never have to paint 1,500 sq foot of office space again!

Gemma Randles, Creative Director
Gemma started as an Aussie kid, then a Tipp teen and now a Dublin wife. She runs KOH with Aisling and is involved in all things creative too. She has a BA Hons in Graphic and Media Design and she has experience in both the print & advertising fields. Working on briefs for an extensive list of clients such as Guinness, Smirnoff, Bank of Ireland, Renault & UPC. Attention to detail is her forte and she loves everything precisely right! Some might even say she has a slight touch of OCD…? She loves strolling down the street and spotting KOH’s work somewhere unexpectedly. Her favourite thing to do is to explore the world with her favourite Scoucer by her side.
Something you didn’t know about her:
- She is really bossy (only sometimes)
- She HATES tractors. Grrrr.
- She was a child prodigy at tap dancing and has the medals to prove it!

Half-way round the world, on a beach on Koh Tao in Thailand, we had the seed of an idea: “When we get home, we’re gonna take on that recession.” Fast forward to June 2009 and Boom! Koh Creative is formed. Bam! Our Pearse Street studio is finished. Bang! Clients are knocking down our door! Nine years ago we had just met in Waterford, studying Visual Communications together, and now it’s Aisling Hanby, Managing Director and Gemma Randles, Creative Director. In the in-between time we worked for the big design and marketing companies, honed our skills, mastered our trade but – we knew we wanted more. We had the ambition and the passion and we needed to step out on our own. So now, based out of Junction Studios in Dublin 2, we’ve got a personal approach, big ideas and a lovely team of 5, each more talented than the last. Trust us, we’re that breath of fresh air you’ve been looking for (and our breath is minty fresh).
